About

Recovering corporate executive (and all-around type A), avid stand up paddler, traveler, and yogi. Now a Licensed Nutritionist (LN) in North Carolina and a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), which is the gold standard certification for advanced clinical nutrition professionals. I launched my nutrition practice after completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Functional Nutrition.  I take a special interest in healthy body composition, gut health, fatigue, and food allergies –  and frequently deal with these and more, not just in clinical practice but also in my own life.

This blog is a place where I can share thoughts on the latest research developments and news on nutritional approaches to wellness, anecdotes from my own clinical practice, my favorite (and easy!) recipes and resources so that even those with multiple food allergies can eat well and easily.

Most of all, I aim to debunk the idea that nutrition has to be another burden or “no pain, no gain” type endeavor – even when you have complex health issues, it doesn’t have to be so hard!  And hence, the name, “Not-So-Hard Nutrition.”

Thanks for joining me on the journey!
